PS4 Won’t Allow User Customized Themes; Xbox One Limited to Tile Colors

The Xbox One and the PS4 are buzzing la lot lately on the web with lots of new discoveries of which some get negative reactions, the latest buzz is about dashboard customization options for both next-generation consoles.

A representative from Microsoft Albert Penello had clarified that users can only customize the tile’s colors on their console.

Few days later a same question in different form was ask on twitter by a user, the response he got from Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony’s Worldwide Studios for SCEA Inc., was a simple “no.”

On the current-gen you are allowed to customize the dashboard of your console and make it more personal with wallpapers or themes. Both companies are getting negative responses about the limitations in their customizations.

The PS4 will be released in North America on November 15th, while the Xbox One will be available in most territories on November 22nd.
