Minecraft reveals Twitch partnership

Twitch had announce today its partnership with Mojang to make it easier to stream Minecraft videos. The news were announced at MineCon, The company said that the service will affect the PC and Mac versions, yet nothing was announced about the Consoles, Xbox 360 and PS3.  The service is expected to go live soon. Twitch VP of marketing Matthew DiPietro said:

“Minecraft’s constantly escalating popularity illustrates that people love to watch video games outside of the headline grabbing eSports titles. Expect a watershed moment for both players and spectators once the ability to easily broadcast gameplay directly to Twitch goes live.”
