Yesterday Bethesda released a couple of awesome screenshots for its upcoming game, The Evil Within. Tomorrow is Friday and tomorrow Xbox One is launching but their is one problem, you have work tomorrow 😥 such a disappointment to miss the launch of Xbox One , right. If only their was a way for you to get sick or get some kind of good excuse , probably you won’t get sick tomorrow but you still can get a good excuse note from Major Nelson, him self.

EA has announced an interesting announcement today, saying that they will continue developing games for current-gens ( Xbox 360, PS3 ) and not stop in few months but instead keep developing for years to come. This week at UBS Global Technology Conference EA CFO Blake Jorgensen explained that hat the company will support current-generation games for the foreseeable future.
”How do you do both last-generation and new generation at the same time? Doing a new generation set of titles is always going to be a challenge, but we’re also trying to produce [current-generation] titles and we’ll be producing [current-generation] titles for many years to come,” he said.

Xbox One is just 5 days away from us and we already see a huge list of games that are being pushed into the launch day or at least the launch week, and lets not forget the younger brother Xbox 360 which also getting some exiting games starting tomorrow.

Today Square Enix and Eidos-Montréal has released couple of screenshots for Thief, showing us screenshots and concept art taken from a mission at the beginning of the game called Lockdown. According to the level’s description: “Baron Northcrest has enforced a ruthless lockdown on the population of the City to control the uprising and quell the spread of a mysterious sickness that spreads through the streets, gripping people’s minds with crippling nightmares and terrible voices in their heads. Nobody feels safe from the sickness that the people on the streets call ‘The Gloom’.” Garrett is required to reach his hideout on the other side of the lockdown, but during the process of getting there, he overhears that some valuable items have been placed in a nearby jewelry store. And that’s why he chooses to stop by the store and steal some stuff. Here are the screenshots, ENJOY.

GTA 5 is getting Online‘s Beach Bum Pack soon for both Xbox 360 and PS3 as well as single and mulitiplayer content. In the new pack we will get new vehicles such as the, “BF Bifta dune buggy, the rugged Canis Kalahari off-road truck, the Bravado Paradise beach camper van and making a special return to the GTA series, the fast and stylish Speeder speedboat.” And lets not forget the new weapons which will include the SNS Pistol and Broken Bottle melee weapon. Watch dogs, the game that was delayed last month seem to be progressing ” very well,” said CEO Yves Guillemot today during the an earnings call. Guillemotsaid that the development team is ” really happy ” with the extra time they got to make the game the best. Guillemot also said that the extra time they have on their hands should allow them to make the game top-seller of 2014. The game was first expected to arrive with Xbox One and PS4 but after the delay it was said that the will be coming in spring of 201, to be exact somewhere in October.

Sony entertainment worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida is excited when he talks about their competitor Microsoft. Today in fact Yoshida went openly and said that in to the public while being interviewed by Giant Bomb. When he was asked about Microsoft’s recent move of offering indie developers a free Unity license, he responded:
That’s a great example on how competition is great and important. If there was only one company, that company could decide the pace and priority of things.
But if there are two similar projects and two companies competing, that’s, I think, the best situation for both consumer getting really the best out of these two groups, but also, it creates stories.
You know, exactly like you asked, “Microsoft did this!” and then there’s a reaction. So that creates a new story and that competition makes what’s happening in the game industry more interesting to the general public and I think that’s really helpful.
So I’m really happy that we have strong and great competition with Microsoft and I appreciate them. They’re really smart speople and very resourceful, so that always keeps us on our toes and looking at ourselves, if we’re doing enough.
It seems like Yoshida likes the idea of competing with Microsoft in the gaming industry.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is expected to arrive to PC and Xbox One as well as 360 and other consoles somewhere in 2014, and by our understanding the game probably is not ready yet, but guess what ? an entire gameplay had leaked today on YouTube showing the game in its full glory, and the funny part about this is that the video is 30-minutes long, which is quite long time for an unfinished game, which now gives us thoughts that the game might be almost ready, but just one question what’s holding up the game this year? a question that will have to wait a while before being answered.
